George Buza is a bruin I wasn't familiar with until the premiere of a no-longer-produced syndicated show, Adventures of Sinbad, in which he played Doubar, the elder brother of the title character.

This show was quite transparently an attempt to cash in on the popularity of shows like "Hercules" and "Xena: Warrior Princess", but unlike a lot of copycat shows, it seems to have had some life of its own... although one can't take any show in this genre too seriously.

Generally, "Doubar" didn't have much to do but kvetch about how headstrong his little brother is, and do an exemplary job of knocking the bad guys about -- although I have to admit, he's so enjoyable just to *look* at one couldn't be faulted for turning off the sound and just watching him. [GRIN]
